Scientific Description
The fluorecare LH diagnostic kit is an advanced dry immunofluorescence diagnostic aid designed for the rapid and quantitative determination of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) concentration in human serum or plasma samples. The system is optimized for native and exclusive integration with the MicroProfit Fluorecare Reader quantitative analyzer (model MF-T1000). This analytical device is intended solely for professional in vitro use as a clinical detection support and for monitoring reproductive functions in Human Clinical Analysis Laboratories, Clinics, and Nursing Homes.
The test principle is based on a double-antibody sandwich immunochromatographic assay: the specimen is dispensed onto the card and combines with the fluorescence-labeled antibody conjugate on the bonding pad. The resulting complex migrates via capillary action along the nitrocellulose membrane, accumulating at the test line (T), where it reacts with immobilized anti-LH monoclonal antibodies and chicken IgY antibodies. The intensity of the fluorescent signal emitted at specific wavelengths is directly proportional to the analyte concentration present, accurately quantified by the reader via graphical data processing stored in the lot-specific ID Chip. Assaying accuracy provides essential support for evaluating the pituitary-gonadal axis and predicting ovulation.
Execution Protocol
- Equilibrate the test card and biological specimen to room temperature (20-25°C) before starting analytical procedures.
- Power on the quantitative analyzer and insert the ID Chip corresponding to the specific lot of the kit, verifying correct code alignment and calibration strings.
- Open the protective aluminum pouch by tearing along the edge, place the card on a flat surface, and proceed with specimen inoculation within 1 hour of opening.
- Holding the pipette vertically and ensuring no air bubbles are formed, accurately dispense 70 µL of sample (serum or plasma) directly into the sample well (S) of the card.
- Allow the device to incubate at room temperature for a fixed reaction time of 15 full minutes.
- Insert the card into the Fluorecare reader slot and start the scanning process; quantitative results expressed in mIU/mL will display automatically on screen, ready for archiving or printing.
Performance Table
| Performance Parameter | Value / Technical Specification |
|---|---|
| Linearity Range (Dynamic Range) | 1 – 100 mIU/mL (R > 0.975) |
| Analytical Sensitivity (LOD) | ≤ 1 mIU/mL |
| Accuracy (Relative Deviation) | Within ±15% |
| Intra-assay Precision (Within-run CV) | ≤ 15% |
| Inter-assay Precision (Between-run CV) | ≤ 15% |
| Suggested Reference Ranges (Female) | Follicular Phase: 2.12-10.89 mIU/mL | Ovulatory Peak: 19.18-103 mIU/mL | Luteal Phase: 1.2-12.86 mIU/mL | Postmenopausal: 10.87-58.64 mIU/mL |
Technical Opinion: The MicroProfit Fluorecare quantitative immunofluorescence system ensures accurate and high-resolution monitoring of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) kinetics. Adoption of the pre-set ID Chip calibration system minimizes inter-lot variability, optimizing analytical reliability and robustness directly at the point of care for prompt interpretation of endocrine clinical presentations. For professional in vitro diagnostic use only. Supply strictly reserved for Clinical Analysis Laboratories, Clinics, and Nursing Homes.
