Scientific Description
The fluorecare MAU diagnostic kit is an advanced diagnostic aid developed for the rapid and quantitative determination of Urinary Microalbumin (MAU) concentration in human urine samples. The analytical system is specifically dedicated for use in combination with the Microprofit Fluorecare Reader quantitative dry immunofluorescence analyzer (model MF-T1000).
The methodological principle is based on a competitive immunochromatographic immunoassay: the urine sample is mixed with diluent and dispensed onto the reaction card. In the absence of MAU in the sample, the fluorescence-labeled detection antibody binds completely to the conjugated antigen on the test line (T), generating maximum signal intensity. In the presence of MAU, the analyte competes for binding with the labeled antibody; consequently, higher MAU concentration in the sample results in lower binding on the test line and a weaker fluorescent signal at a specific wavelength. The instrument accurately quantifies optical intensity by interpolating data with a pre-set calibration curve provided via an ID Chip. The test is intended exclusively for professional in vitro use as a clinical detection support in Human Clinical Analysis Laboratories, Clinics, and Nursing Homes.
Execution Protocol
- Remove the test card from refrigeration and equilibrate it to room temperature (15-30°C) for at least 30 minutes before analysis.
- Power on the quantitative analyzer and verify that the code on the inserted ID Chip perfectly matches the lot number of the reagent kit in use. Select “Urine” as the sample type on the screen.
- Open the aluminum pouch and place the card on a flat, stable surface; the assay must be performed within 1 hour of opening.
- Using a professional pipette held vertically, draw 20 µL of urine sample (or reference product) avoiding air bubble formation, and add directly into the diluent tube (180 µL). Mix the solution thoroughly.
- Dispense 70 µL of the resulting mixture into the sample well (S) of the test card.
- Allow the card to incubate at room temperature for a fixed chromatographic reaction time of 15 minutes.
- Insert the card into the Fluorecare reader slot and initiate the analytical session. Within seconds, the quantitative result will be calculated and displayed in mg/L, ready for archiving or printing via the built-in printer.
Performance Table
| Performance Parameter | Value / Technical Specification |
|---|---|

| Analytical Sensitivity (LOD) | ≤ 5 mg/L |
| Accuracy (Relative Deviation) | Within ±15% |
| Intra-assay Precision (Within-run CV) | ≤ 15% |
| Inter-assay Precision (Between-run CV) | ≤ 15% |
| Suggested Reference Range | < 30 mg/L |
Technical Opinion: The competitive immunofluorescence assay for Urinary Microalbumin using the Fluorecare line ensures accurate and sensitive quantitative spectrum monitoring. The combined use of the dedicated ID Chip guarantees optimal analytical alignment while reducing operational variability. For professional in vitro diagnostic use only. Supply strictly reserved for Clinical Analysis Laboratories, Clinics, and Nursing Homes.
